You do not need a finished design. Wotta Mug creates custom artwork for personal gifts, business teams and group occasions. Bring a photo, a rough sketch, your logo or just a description of what you have in mind.
- Character portraits and caricatures. A playful design of a person or group, with details that reflect their personality, work or interests.
- Pet portraits. Artwork based on your favourite pet photo, with a name or personal message.
- Weddings and celebrations. Couple illustrations, birthday themes, names, dates and coordinated designs for a group.
- Custom scenes and themes. Artwork built around a hobby, setting or story, from beach and camping themes to illustrated landscapes.

From a rough idea to an approved design
Tell us who the mug is for, the occasion, your preferred style and the details that matter. Include clear reference photos and exact wording where you have them. We will confirm the artwork scope and any design charges with your quote, then prepare a digital proof for you to check before printing.
The online mug designer is optional. Use it to explore placement yourself, or let us create the artwork for you.
Send the original
Use the original camera image or logo file. Screenshots, messaging apps and social platforms can reduce image detail. We need to check how your file will look at its actual printed size.
Which logo file should I supply?
Provide your original vector PDF or a high-resolution transparent PNG where available, along with any brand colour references. A filename or file extension alone does not guarantee print quality; we check the artwork at the intended print size.
The online mug preview accepts PNG, JPG and WebP images only. Keep the original vector file for print preparation; use an image copy to explore placement in the preview.
Leave room around the subject
A photo with space around a face is easier to place in different layouts. Tell us which parts must stay visible and whether you want text beside the photo.
Supply exact words and names
Copy your final wording into the brief. For a group order, keep all names in one checked list and identify any different designs.
Keep the rights clear
Supply photos, logos and artwork you own or have permission to reproduce. A design found online is not automatically available to print.
Check the proof at the right stage
Look at spelling, dates, names, layout and image cropping before approving the artwork. Screen colour and a physical print can appear different.
Template size and clearance
The full 11 oz template is 225 mm wide × 97.5 mm high, including clearance. The preview reserves 25 mm on each side beside the handle, leaving 175 mm between those exclusion zones. Top and bottom preview margins also apply. Final artwork and placement are checked before printing.
Ask before building a wrap
Confirm the printable area and template for the mug option before producing a finished wrap. Do not guess dimensions from a different supplier’s template.
